Windsor’s Speaker Series, held every month, gives you a chance to take part in an informal seminar with a business leader or public intellectual. These seminars help you to mature your understanding of cultural trends, learn more about a given field, and appreciate the advances being made in the arts and sciences. Our speakers are chosen for their outstanding contributions to their fields, and for the personal integrity with which they live.
Doctrinal classes on the Catholic Faith are offered at Windsor normally on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
Retreats are conducted by priests of Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church. These silent retreats consist of daily Mass, spiritual talks by priests as an aid to prayer, adoration, rosary, stations of the cross, and practical talks by laymen. The Palomar Mountain, just 120 miles south of Los Angeles, allows ample time and space for prayer and quiet relaxation.
Evening of Recollections
Recollections are generally two hours long. They consist of a series of activities designed to form one’s spiritual life. They include, a preached meditation, an extended examination of conscience, an opportunity to engage in spiritual direction and/or sacramental confession and Eucharistic adoration and Benediction with the Blessed Sacrament.
